Ansley Sellers, CCC-SLP
Owner, Speech Language Pathologist
Ansley Sellers is a speech pathologist from St. Simons Island, GA. After completing her undergraduate in Communication Sciences and Disorders through Auburn University, she achieved her Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology through the University of Georgia. Since graduation, she has worked in pediatric private practice in Greensboro, NC and Brunswick, GA, before moving to Savannah. Ansley, and her business partner Allison Herrin CCC-SLP, opened The Speech Clinic of the Coastal Empire in 2015, in Richmond Hill. The office was moved to Wilmington Island in 2017, so Ansley could be closer to her growing family.
Ansley has speech therapy experience working with a variety of diagnoses, including but not limited to developmental disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, articulation disorders, phonological impairments, fluency disorders/stuttering, feeding and swallowing disorders, receptive/expressive language delays, and social communication deficits. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), and is accredited by Georgia’s Professional Licensing Board. In her spare time, Ansley enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons, Coleman, Tucker, and Reynolds.

Amy Daniel, CCC-SLP
Speech Language Pathologist
Amy is a speech-language pathologist from Atlanta, GA. She completed her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Georgia and her Master's of Speech Pathology degree at the University of Georgia. Amy has worked in outpatient pediatric hospital settings in Atlanta and Houston, TX as well as Savannah area pediatric private practice clinics and the Savannah Chatham County Public School System. She has experiences working with a variety of diagnoses including developmental disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, articulation disorders, fluency disorders/stuttering, receptive/expressive language delays and social communication deficits. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), and is accredited by the Georgia Professional Licensing Board. In her spare time, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and son.
Morgan Melnick, CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Morgan Melnick is a speech-language pathologist from Savannah, GA. She completed her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Armstrong State University and her Master’s of Speech Pathology at Valdosta State University. Since graduating, Morgan has worked in skilled nursing and pediatric private practice in the Savannah area. She has speech therapy experience working with a variety of diagnoses including developmental delay, Autism Spectrum Disorder, fluency disorder/stuttering, articulation and phonological impairment, receptive/expressive language delay, social communication deficit, AAC, deaf/hearing impaired, Childhood Apraxia of speech, and feeding and swallowing disorders. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), and is accredited by the Georgia Professional Licensing Board. In her spare time, Morgan enjoys spending time with her family (especially her new baby boy, Owen!), going to the beach, and playing with her two dogs!
Kate Kellum, CCC-SLP
Speech- Language Pathologist
Kate Kellum is a speech-language pathologist from Tupelo, MS. She completed her
undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at The University
of Mississippi and her Master’s at Georgia Southern University. Before obtaining her
Master’s degree, Kate worked as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in the
public school system serving school aged children in Nashville, TN. Since graduating
with her Master’s, Kate has worked in the outpatient pediatric setting in Savannah,
GA. She has experience with a wide range of speech and language disorders including
developmental delays, vision and/or hearing impairment, fluency disorder,
receptive and expressive language delays, phonological impairment, social
communication deficits, autism spectrum disorders and use of Augmentative and
Alternative Communication (AAC) methods. Kate is passionate about helping children communicate and interact within their environments to reach their fullest potential. Kate holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is license to practice in the state of Georgia.
Felicia Ashley, CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Felicia Ashley received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, as well as a Master of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Georgia Southern University- Armstrong Campus. Felicia enjoys shopping, watching movies, going to the beach, and spending quality time with family. She received a wide variety of experiences in her graduate school practicums, including working with children with Autism, Down Syndrome, and language & speech sound disorders. She has worked within multiple settings including private practice, school system, nursing home, and hospital. Felicia is a persistent, resourceful, and adaptable therapist. She genuinely enjoys working with children and building relationships with their families.
Brielyn Smith, CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Brielyn Smith is originally from Nebraska. She completed her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Nova Southeastern University. She received a variety of experience through her graduate school practicums, including outpatient pediatric, outpatient adult, inpatient adult, daycare, elementary school, and middle school. These practicums provided hands on experience working with a variety of diagnoses, including but not limited to, developmental disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, articulation, phonological impairment, receptive/expressive language, social communication, fluency/stuttering, cognition, memory, aphasia, dysphagia (swallowing impairment), voice, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is accredited by Georgia’s Professional Licensing Board. In her spare time, Brielyn enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and reading a good thriller.
Larie Vaus, OT
Occupational Therapist
Larie Vaus is an occupational therapist originally from Horseheads, New York. She completed her bachelors of science in Occupational Science and Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy at the University at Buffalo. Since graduation she has worked in the pediatric outpatient, home, and school settings as well as inpatient adult settings in Fayetteville, NC before moving to Savannah GA. Larie has experience working with many disorders including but not limited to developmental delay, autism spectrum disorder, down syndrome, feeding/oral motor delays and disorders, williams syndrome, rett syndrome, sensory processing disorders, ADHD, spina bifida, genetic mutations, cerebral palsy, etc. Larie holds her national board certification in occupational therapy as well as her Georgia state licensure in occupational therapy. She is passionate about connecting with her clients and guiding them to become independent and successful in play, feeding, and self care tasks. Larie enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and two dogs doing outdoor activities including hiking and camping.
Bethany Spivey, OT
Occupational Therapist
Bethany Spivey is a native to the Savannah area. She completed her bachelors of science in Exercise Science at Georgia College & State University, and received her Masters in Health Sciences in Occupational Therapy at Augusta University in May 2022. Since graduation, she has worked in the pediatric outpatient clinic with a variety of disorders including but not limited to development delay, down syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, feeding/oral motor delays and disorders, williams syndrome, ADHD, spina bifida, sensory processing disorders, cerebral palsy, genetic/chromosomal mutations and disorders, arthrogryposis, etc. She holds her national board certification in occupational therapy, in addition to her Georgia state licensure in occupational therapy. She is passionate about guiding children toward independence in play and self-care activities. She especially enjoys spending time with her husband and son, in addition to painting, drawing, and reading in her spare time.
